Fees April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2013

Reservation fees include the following:

  • Tour of Property (Please schedule your tour. Walk-ins are discouraged due to scheduled events.)
  • Requested building’s common areas and surrounding grounds
  • Requested set up and tear down
  • Tables (any event over the inside seating capacity may require the guest to rent additional tables.)
  • Chairs (any event over the inside seating capacity may require the guest to rent additional chairs).
  • Various equipment such as: flip charts, table top easels, floor easels, microphone, podium, television, DVD, projector screen, slide projector, overhead projector, CD player, wireless Internet access, conference call phone, white picnic tables, white picnic chairs.
  • Equipment availability is dependant upon needs of simultaneous events.
  • Event staff meeting (call Director of Properties for further information)
  • We are happy to accommodate special requests if given ample notification - additional fees may apply
  • Dance floor (inside or outside)
  • Baby Grand Piano (Main House only.  Use of the piano eliminates 40 seats in the Main House.)
  • Tents (two 15X15 white canopy tents, one 10X10 white canopy tent)
  • Risers/Staging (13" in height)

Valcour is not a full service hotel or bed and breakfast, but that doesn't compromise the true Adirondack hospitality and comfort you will experience while staying overnight with us.

If you did not provide an hour window of arrival time for staff to greet you upon arrival, please make yourself at home, go in the front door and proceed upstairs. All bedrooms have numbers above the doors. Your assigned room will have a front door and room key located on the dresser. Unless prior arrangements have been made, check in is 2:00 PM or after, check out promptly at 11:00 AM. Should your arrival time unexpectedly change please contact Valcour's Property Manager at 518-563-2911 or pager 518-574-5030.

Valcour's Main House has high-speed wireless Internet access.

A complimentary continental breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, English Muffins and fresh fruit is available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM for all our overnight guests.

Please note - common areas oftentimes are reserved for others or being prepared for upcoming events and are not available for use unless previous arrangements have been made through the Director of Properties office.

Your on call staff member’s name and contact information will be posted in the breakfast area, please feel free to contact him/her 24/7 should you have any questions or concerns during your stay.

Payment is not accepted on site. Please contact Chris Hobson Whalen, Director of Properties to make payment arrangements.
